Introducing Our New Garden Center: What to Expect and Why You'll Love It

what's new at the garden center?

EARTH DAY!
Join us for a free class!🌿

Saturday, April 18 | 10:00–11:00 AM
Council Growers | 3226 24th St SE, Ruskin, FL

A little dirt, a little sunshine, and something beautiful to grow.

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring morning as we celebrate Earth Day the way Florida does best… with plants that already know how to thrive here.

This free class is all about Florida native plants… the quiet overachievers of your garden. The ones that don’t need constant watering, don’t fuss in the heat, and somehow still look like they belong in a magazine.

We’ll walk through:

Easy, low-maintenance shrubs that love our climate

Flowers that bring color without the struggle

Native edibles you can actually grow and enjoy

Butterfly and pollinator favorites that turn your yard into something alive

Why native plants?

Because they’re built for Florida. They use less water, need fewer chemicals, and support the birds, butterflies, and bees that make a garden feel like a little escape instead of another chore. Think less work, more wandering barefoot with coffee in hand.

Bring a friend, bring your questions, and maybe leave with a new favorite plant… or three.

Food Too!

From 11 AM to 2 PM, Roots Southern BBQ Food Truck will be joining us at the garden center.

Come enjoy delicious barbecue while you shop or explore.

No class registration is required, just stop by, grab a bite, and spend some time with us.
