Absolutely, we are very fortunate in central Florida that we can work in our yards most of the year. Fall is a good time to lay sod, as typically we have some moisture in the soil from the cold fronts that pass through. The humidity is down amounting in less disease stress. Most importantly now is a great time to get out and work in your yard. In cooler weather the only time I would delay your grass project is when we have an imminent freeze in your community I would delay laying any sod until after the freezing weather has passed. Freezing weather is any thing at or below 32 degrees.
